Accounting For Stuff

So the bloody ground rodent saw his shadow which means we will be having 6 more weeks of winter. Even Shannon's Groundhog's Day Carol didn't soften that blow. Luckily, I don't really trust the meteorological skills of a critter and I already knew Mother Nature was feeling particularly tetchy this year. We're supposed to have more snow this week but the reports on how much vary. I'm hoping for either an obscene amount that closes work or a pathetic amount that melts fast in the more bearable temperatures.
Today, though, was rain which was just as well since it kept me indoors and doing odds and ends. Or it would have if my body would have allowed it. Somehow I acquired all sorts of bruises on my hands and wrists and my biceps and legs are aching beyond words. I'm pretty sure the second part has something to do with toting a bag of books about 2 blocks yesterday. The bag of books probably weighed nearly half as much as me, had no handles, and cost $5. Of course I stuffed it full. What do you think I am? A lunatic? Now I just have to sort them and inventory them and try to keep Lennon from pulling the bag over onto his head. Oh, my stupid cat.
Anyway, I also did a couple random projects. Well, and my dad came over to put nails in the wall because I couldn't get the things to go and, yes, I was using the right end of the hammer. Huff.
