And today was a somewhat productive day. I hit the gym, I potted pansies, and I touched up the vestibule/door. Only to discover that I can only reach so high with my own step ladder and need to get my dad's taller ladder to finish up the window frame. Which is looking awesome, btw.
With the touch up and not having the ladder, I said screw it and moved my bench back into the vestibule. It looks classy. It is also, however, very echo-y. Hm. I might have to think about that. I didn't do the math of tile plus hard surfaces equals noise.
I still have to do the flower boxes out front but I transferred the tiny pansies into their little pots for the shelf on the porch at least. Rosie watched me from her porch, laughed, and told me to stop because I was making her half of the house look ghetto. Berto chimed in that I should stop because Rosie will try to make him do things now.
Then I did laundry, sort of. If I just survive 2 days of work, I can get more done on Wednesday. Hurray!
Also the neighbors' wee chihuahua loves me and I love her. She sat curled up on my lap, cuddling, when I took a break from painting and was most reluctant to leave. Awww, Lola. You actually look like a dog put in the dryer and not a rat. <3
I also need to get over this strange lusty crush I've developed on one of the crew on Holmes on Homes.

Lola is beyond precious. You know how those sorts of dogs tend to shake? She did that until she was all cuddled up on my lap and then just sighed and put her paw on my arm.
