Long Overdue Picture Post

As some of you know, I've been working on my house here and there for ages. I take pictures... Then forget to share them. So now I will put up a large group, starting with the most recent!


The most recent change was to the vestibule. Sage helped me paint before she left and my dad finished the high parts as we were too wee to reach. Then he tiled it. We even got the windows open. It was all formally covered in milk chocolate brown paint and tatty tan carpet.

Here you see the brown and the window after it has been forced open after repeated coats of paint stripper, scrapping, pleading, and tears.



And then...





Before that, though, was painting the front door and getting the new light hung.





Shortly after Sage moved in, I promised select friends pizza if they helped me paint my kitchen cabinets. It worked surprisingly well and I went from this



to this



My dad did my dining room wall as a Christmas present one year. It used to be horrible faux brick paneling.



While he was doing that, I just happened to have a fan for him to do as well. XD



And my first solo project... I made a cushion!
