mindsplintersIt's petty and childish and utterly bratty but... I'm very annoyed at my laptop and even more annoyed at myself for not getting the external hard drive that I keep meaning to get. It seems that I picked up a virus of some sort on my laptop. Maybe. I don't know. It slowed my internet to a crawl and then finally killed all access to browsers. Now the whole thing is snail-slow.
So do I'm left with the decision of getting it fixed or buying a new one. I had NOT planned on replacing it at all any time soon. I mean, it was working fine. Bit old, bit slow sometimes but it worked... Those of you who know me know that I tend to run my electronics into the ground before caving and getting a new item. It's my version of being a troglodyte, I guess. Or I'm just lazy and scared of making decisions about things I barely know. Same diff.
Hmph. It wasn't really that old either. Maybe 3 years? So what to do? Gah.
