Totally Adult... Ish

So between birthday/Christmas money and a generous Christmas gift card from work, I've decided to splurge... On housewares. Because I'm depressingly adult sometimes.

Tonight Micah and I were super productive and disturbingly domestic. We unboxed and set up the new microwave we ordered earlier this week. We went and ordered the new dishwasher and arranged for the delivery next Saturday. We shopped for countertops. We played with layouts for the cabinets we rescued to make an island in the kitchen; the brilliant man had made paper cut-out mock-ups to work with so we didn't have to drag the heavy things around. I cleaned both litter boxes.

While I was at work, he did laundry and vacuumed.

Sometimes I wonder what I did to get so lucky as to find him. It's a little scary but good-scary.

Also, I was wondering if you received the honor card I sent through Heifer International on Christmas? The site was acting all wonky and I'm not sure if any of the cards I tried to send after I donated actually went through.
